At The Butter Block,

and creative force behind The Butter Block. Her love for travel and cultural exploration has led her to develop a unique approach to pastry making, rooted in the belief that food has the power to bring joy and comfort, and even transport people to different times and places.  

With a background in supply chain management, Heidi made the courageous leap in 2018 to turn a lifelong passion for baking into a full-fledged career. Since then, she has honed her craft at establishments across Boston and San Francisco and gained invaluable hands-on experience at bakeries in Paris and Germany.  Most notably, Heidi served as the executive pastry chef at Jane the Bakery, where she led a talented team in creating a wide array of artisanal pastries and sweets.  

When not in the kitchen, Heidi can be found on the pickleball courts or indulging in other creative pursuits like knitting and DIYing. Her adventurous spirit and curiosity continues to fuel her culinary innovations, making each visit to The Butter Block a delightful and unexpected experience.
